Instructions for the Graco Pack 'n Play Bassinet
The Graco Pack 'n Play is a portable play pen. The Pack 'n Play makes your baby or toddler's sleeping arrangements on trips safe and simple. While toddlers can sleep in the bottom part of the Pack 'n Play, moms will want to use the bassinet attachment for younger babies. Once you get the hang of setting up the basic Pack n' Play frame, using the bassinet attachment is simple.
Set up the main frame of the Pack 'n Play as usual. Pull up on the rails until they click into place, forming a rectangle. Rails should be locked. Then, while holding onto one of the rails, push the center disc in the bottom until it's flat and locks into place.
If your bassinet came with tubes, slide them into the holes at both ends of the bassinet. Place the bassinet into the assembled Pack 'n Play frame, so that the plastic clips straddle the oval buttons on the frame's longer top rails. Snap the bassinet's plastic sides firmly into place on the rails and snap the tubes into the corners.
If your bassinet comes with a separate rectangular flooring liner, place the liner into the bottom of the bassinet. Make sure the liner lays flat by pressing firmly on each end.
Cover the Graco Pack n' Play bassinet mattress with a tight-fitting Graco bassinet mattress sheet. Push the mattress firmly into the bassinet.
Open the bassinet's canopy by fastening the straps on either side to the sides of the Pack 'n Play.
Tips
Make sure the floor of the Pack n' Play is unlocked before trying to lock the top bars of the frame.
Warnings
Never use pillows or mattress pads in the bassinet that aren't specifically made for it by Graco. Never place the Pack n' Play near long dangling cords, strings, drapes or blinds. Never place a child under the bassinet attachment.
